14 years ago we joined forces with the Royal Ascot Tennis Club, for the Hiring of Mens Top Hats, Ladies Designer Hats, and Car Parking, during the Royal Ascot Races. This initiative helps raise funds for the Community Tennis Club, while providing a need that had long been unmet to Race Goers - A Hat Hire in Ascot, across the road from the Racecourse Grandstand. Arriving by train? We are on the walk up Station Hill from the Station. Driving - You can even park with us too (£35.00 per car), making it even more convenient. Coach customers can access via High Street. Limos welcome to drive up to us. Helicopters potentially a problem!
This is a totally unique service for Race goers during Royal Ascot, with the pick up and drop of so close to the Entrances. This service allows you to Hire your Hat for only day required, and save the two/three day charges companies away from Ascot may charge if you cannot collect, and return your hat the same day of Royal Ascot.
International customers flying in from all corners of the globe have found this service invaluable and make up over half our customer list each year. No longer the need to carry bulky hat boxes on the plane, or allow extra days ahead of the races to find a Hat, our site allows you to view rotating views of each hat, with sizes advised, and tips for selecting the right hat. These customers can now fly without hats, and simply collect and return their booked hat in Ascot on the day.
Hats can be tried on, colour checked, size checked in advance by APPOINTMENT only at 13 Prince Andrew Way, Ascot, Berkshire, SL5 8NQ. Please call on: 07958 950303 if you would like to make an appointment to view, try, or colour check the Hats before booking.
Collect from 9.30am in the morning and return by 9.30pm in the evening on day your hat is booked, from the Royal Ascot Tennis Club, top of Station Hill, behind Fire Station, on opposite side of High Street from the Grandstand. View Location Map
All Hats are to be collected and returned on the day, from the Tennis Club. Royal Ascot Races start Tuesday and finish Saturday. Hats are booked every day, so it is not possible to send the day before, when someone else has the hat booked for that day. If you'd like to collect the day before, or arrange courier to do so for you, then you are welcome to book and pay for the day before also, so that the hat is yours for the two days. Our Hats are priced cheaper than other Hat Hire companies rates for Royal Ascot Week because we are able to offer this easy collect and return same day service.
Click on any of the Hats or Headpieces on our site to open up rotating views and descriptions. Included in these descriptions is a note that states YES or NO to meeting the Royal Enclosure Dress Code. There are only a handful that would not be permitted in the Royal Enclosure.
Visitors to the Royal Enclosure ARE ALLOWED to wear Headpieces, they simply need be more than 4", and sit over the crown of your head. Little small clips and comb designs (more often called Fascinators) are what has been banned from the Royal Enclosure. Headpieces are bigger, and in many cases larger than Hats.
Headpieces are designs that don't feature "Crowns and Brims", but instead are modern Berets, Smarties, Buttons, Crowns etc. These more sculptural designs favoured by the younger Royals, are considered by most as more fashion forward, and often very creative. They are absolutely accepted in the Royal Enclosure.
